Goiânia é a capital com mais casos de dengue confirmados no país em 2022, segundo boletim divulgado pelo Ministério da Saúde. No primeiro trimestre deste ano foram quase 20 mil casos confirmados no município. No ano passado, de acordo com a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (SMS) foram no total 11,48 mil casos de dengue na cidade.
Segundo o secretário de municipal de saúde, Durval Pedroso, cerca de 80% dos focos são encontrados nas residências. “Para se ter uma ideia, no chamado Distrito Noroeste, por exemplo, a cada 100 mil habitantes, 2.269 pessoas foram diagnosticadas com dengue”, afirma.
Durante as 550 mil visitas feitas pelos agentes de endemias e comunitários da prefeitura no primeiro trimestre, foram encontrados mais de 21 mil focos do mosquito Aedes aegypti.
Até março, foram realizadas 116 visitas em imóveis abandonados, onde a prefeitura recebeu autorização judicial. Mais da metade deles apresentava focos de mosquito da dengue.
Goiás é 2° no ranking de mortes
A proliferação do mosquito colocou Goiás no segundo lugar no ranking dos estados que mais registraram mortes pela doença em 2022. Foram 16 óbitos confirmados até agora. O Estado fica atrás apenas de São Paulo, com 23 mortes pela mesma causa.
